Educators

The Media Burn Independent Video Archive is a unique educational resource for teachers of primary to graduate school.

Intro Text

With rare documentary footage, unique historical perspectives and thought provoking issues, our videos can help teachers to stimulate class discussion and critical thinking around such topics as historical US and World events, American Culture, issues of race, the role of media in a democratic society and much more.

Teachers! we encourage you to browse and search the Archive and develop your own course lessons. In fact, we'd like to hear how you are using the Media Burn Collection as an educational tool. We need this feedback to show that our collection is of interest to the educational community. The more feedback we have, the easier it will be for us to get funding to create new educational features! We are also collecting syllabi from teachers who have used the videos, in order to provide examples and ideas for others in the educational community. Please contact us at info@mediaburn.org.
