Unemployment has been a troubling issue in recent years.

It’s not the first time.

In 1975, Skip Blumberg and Anda Korsts taped people waiting at the Office of Unemployment Insurance in Chicago’s Logan Square as part of the “It’s a Living” series produced through Videopolis and aired on WTTW. It’s a humbling exercise in futility and frustration.
