This tape raw footage for the documentary "Veeck: A Man For Any Season." In this tape, Bill Veeck and his wife Mary Frances watch the Illinois high school state final basketball tournament in Champaign, Illinois. This is followed by various conversations with other spectators and the beginning of an interview with Veeck in the stadium after the game.

The interview begins as Veeck talks about the excellence of the “event” of the basketball tournament, including, and especially, the activity off the court. He claims that as opposed to professional athletes, “these players have earned their brief moment in the sun.” He goes on to provide analysis of the game between Mt. Carmel and Cahokia.
