[Artaud rehearsal]

This tape documents the preparation for the joint Videopolis / Victory Gardens Theater production of "Artaud." Director Jim Rinnert, videomaker Anda Korsts, and another man discuss the scene with actor J. Pat Miller, and Miller rehearses.

They talk about the how the live action on stage will relate to the pre-recorded video playing on monitors throughout the show. The men gather the items they need to rehearse. This lasts for several minutes.

06:01Copy video clip URL The rehearsal begins. Miller makes his way into a room, slowly closing the door behind him in a depressed state. He slowly steps towards the wall and leans, reacting mournfully to the audio being played out of a set of speakers.
