He nervously stumbles through the area, splashing water on his face at a fountain in a park in the Chicago area with a stone bridge, chosen for its resemblance to Ireland. They go through numerous takes. They eventually shoot Miller as he performs a monologue. In an underpass, Miller gives a concentrated and angst filled performance as his character comes to grips with his isolation from the world. This lasts for a good portion of the tape.
