He did ten years in prison and lost everything. In 1986, he went into treatment, got his life straightened out, got a Master’s degree and came to the Brass Foundation to help others.

They provide transportation for those who have none, and have child care so women can focus on their treatment. They provide medical care to their patients and their families, and take a holistic approach to treatment including recreational therapy, parenting programs, individual guidance with a counselor, drug education, and prevention outreach programs aimed at the public.
