Raw footage for the 1976 documentary "Making It In Hollywood," which follows several actors as they attempt to break into the movie business. A continuation of footage from one of John Roger's spiritual gatherings at his Church of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness, attended by Sally Kirkland.

01:55Copy video clip URL Kirkland explains that the “Making It” crew didn’t get her entire poem on tape (because of a tape change), so she re-reads her poem. She is again accompanied by a zither. The poem is about being a part of “Making it in Hollywood,” the “plight” of the actor, Kirkland’s former drug use, and her discovery of John-Roger’s church. “Where spirit is art, there is no plight.”
