Studs’ Place: The Opera

The show Studs' Place was broadcast out of Chicago from 1949-51. It featured improvised comedy and some jazz performances.

This episode is entitled “The Opera.” Studs goes to the opera and returns feeling more cultured than his friends. He brings an opera singer to dinner at the restaurant and tries to impress him with his class, but the singer takes more to his sincere yet less educated friends. Includes musical performances by Win Stracke and Chet Roble.
