[The 90’s Election Specials raw: Aaron Freeman at Miller’s Pub]

Raw footage for The 90's election specials. At Miller's Pub in Chicago on primary election night with The 90's contributors Tom Weinberg, Eddie Becker, and Aaron Freeman.

00:00Copy video clip URL The 90’s contributor and comedian Aaron Freeman discusses the results of the primary election with his colleagues. He is happy about Carol Moseley Braun’s win. On Clinton’s tabloid exposure: “If the worst thing you can say about a man is that he’s got a boner…” then you’re just comparing him to Jack Kennedy! He says he voted for Bill Clinton, but qualifies his statement by saying that he would rather have Jerry Brown or Paul Tsongas as president, but he didn’t think they could beat George H. W. Bush. Tom Weinberg agrees: “That’s the key to Clinton!”

Weinberg: “This guy really maybe since Bobby Kennedy is the first person who can bring people together… it’s his attitude which really is inclusive.” Freeman on Tsongas: “The Elmer Fudd vote is not big enough.” Freeman speculates that many people who voted for Braun “don’t know how liberal she is.”
