7:35 More poetry about struggling. Deals with drugs and violence and suceeding in spite of obstacles.

8:19 Graduation. Teacher says the freshman class was over 400 students and that they are graduating 88. The students are taught which side the tassel goes on. Ceremony with Pomp and Circumstance. Protagonist gives speech at the ceremony. People celebrate after the ceremony.
