As the Chicago Bears move closer to the Super Bowl (we hope), here’s a look back at the life and career of Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback and place kicker, George Blanda (1927-2010). He played 26 seasons of professional football, the most in the sport’s history, and had scored more points than anyone in history at the time of his retirement in 1976.
