    Media Burn honored by Save America’s Treasures program

    We are very proud to announce that Media Burn has been honored with a $79,000 federal grant from the Save America’s Treasures program to preserve and make available one-of-a-kind documentary footage of the 1992 presidential election and the U.S. senatorial election in Illinois. The Save America’s Treasures program provides funding for the protection of our nation’s endangered and irreplaceable cultural heritage.     As the Chicago Bears move closer to the Super Bowl (we hope), here’s a look back at the life and career of Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback and place kicker, George Blanda (1927-2010). He played 26 seasons of professional football, the most in the sport’s history, and had scored more points than anyone in history at the time of his retirement in 1976.
