Becker visits and shoots a TV Museum, some ice skaters, Brass Plum (a clothing store), the Disney store, the Hemlock Society (a group that advocates euthanasia), and tapes an interview an unidentified former journalist from the Washington Times, who talks about the “moonies.”

  Raw footage for the award-winning series The 90’s. The tape begins with an interview about a CD-ROM produced in conjunction with Time Magazine that chronicles Operation Desert Storm. Then, Maxi Cohen tours California’s Venice Beach, showing us some of its usual characters. Included are: a man with a Safe Sex plant (with condoms for leaves); a “peace scroll,” a giant petition urging the United Nations to make peace in the Persian Gulf; a hip-hop dance group; and Echo Man, a man who has the ability to make his unaided voice sound as if it is echoing.

  Raw footage for the award-winning series The 90’s. Eddie Tape #25: (Continuation of Tape #24). Becker and a companion interview people at the Vietnam Wall about teaching peace and nonviolence in schools. Then, Becker goes on the Scandal Tour of Washington, a comedy tour that takes people on a bus to locations where scandals have occurred, while impersonating historical figures.

  Raw footage for the award-winning series The 90’s. Videomaker Eddie Becker travels to White House Park to document a debate between a group of protesters and other people who were merely passing by the demonstration. One passerby and former Biddeford, Maine mayoral candidate, Rory Holland, addresses the group. (Holland was later charged with murder in the gunning down of two Biddeford residents in June of 2009.)

  Raw footage for the award-winning series The 90’s. In Cambridge, Massachusetts, people are interviewed about who they would trust to be president. Among the answers are Niels Bohr, Patricia Ireland, Martin Luther King, Jesse Jackson, Bill Moyers, “a born-again Christian who believes in the Bible,” and Jesus Christ (because there wouldn’t be gays or fornication). One of the more notable interviewees is the Vice Mayor of Cambridge, who suggests W.E.B. Dubois. [The spelling of their names is approximate.]
