    Raw footage for the 1976 documentary “Making It In Hollywood,” which follows several actors as they attempt to break into the movie business. This tapes follows Cissy Colpitts, an aspiring actress, as she enters the William Morris Agency in an attempt to obtain an agent to represent her. She is interviewed on the street before meeting with the agent, and again when the meeting has finished. She talks about the experience, and says it was very positive. She did not get an agent, but was referred to other, smaller agencies. After leaving the agency, the interview continues at a poolside location, where Colpitts shows us her headshots, and resume. She also talks about her decision to become an actress.

    Documentary about the National Hobo Convention in Britt, Iowa. The tape mostly features interviews with hobos who, among other things, talk about the generational differences between the old timers and the young hobos and the lack of respect given to them by the community in Britt. A bulk of the tape deals with women’s roles in the hobo community and at the convention.

We watch behind-the-scenes footage, including: the make-up crew doing their work on Kirkland; Kirkland rehearsing with the director; the gaffer and cinematographer lighting the set; and Kirkland performing multiple takes of a scene.

    Raw footage from the 1981 documentary “Rostenkowski,” a portrait of House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dan Rostenkowski, a powerful figure in Chicago (and national) politics. Continuation of a rally for Rostenkowski in the field house in Chicago’s Pulaski Park (which sits in Rostenkowski’s district on Chicago’s northwest side). Rostenkowski concludes the rally by saying that Richard M. Daley, candidate for Illinois State’s Attorney, “is a good man, and will be a good public official.” A polka band plays while Rostenkowski mingles with the crowd following the speech. The camera then follows Rostenkowski to his home across the street from the park.
