Footage for the documentary “Voices of Cabrini.” Shot between 1995-1999, it documented the Cabrini Green redevelopment project proposed and carried out by the city of Chicago. This tape contains footage of the Pratt family at home in Cabrini.
“Uptown Christian Soldiers” is a short, well-balanced documentary about Jesus People USA in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. JPUSA offers emergency housing, long-term housing for disadvantaged persons, and a daily meal program. JPUSA also operates several small businesses in the neighborhood. Program features interviews from administrators, community members, former members, and the families of members. There is also footage from within the dining halls of the ministry and the dormitories bought by the church.
This tape features footage from an interview with the Bill Veeck Family in 1962. Bill Gordon and Dorothy Fuldheim of WEWS-TV Channel 5 in Cleveland travel to the Eastern shore of Maryland to interview the Veeck family. Gordon and Fuldheim were co-hosts of “The One O’Clock Club” at the time.
