00:02 Camera opens on Howard Zinn speaking at Campos High School. He is talking about activist movements and war demonstrations that are ignored by the media. He encourages the students to never feel discouraged by the size of the movement, mentioning that many movements feel hopeless at the start. 

2:20 An administrator thanks Zinn for coming to speak. Students come up and shake his hand or take photos with him. Loud room noise. Some students asks about government systems in different countries. A small group of people listen to him speak again. He talks about ignorance propagated by American media. He says that giving people information motivates them to make change. Camera moves away for a longer shot.
