4:20 Ad for Newton’s Apple host David Hyle, who is returning for a second season. Newton’s Apple is a show about science and technology. We are also introduced to field reporter Peggy Knapp and other staff. Then there is a segment on Newton’s Lemons. Clips of failed science experiements, like wings for people. Ends with cliffhanger about whether the host has died in a mountain climbing expedition.

9:04 Ad for “Slakes Limbo”. A latchkey kid gets blamed for the death of his best friend and has to hide out in the New York Subway. Charles Dutton and Jasmine Guy star.

10:02 Ad for show called “Good Old Boy”, which takes place in rural Mississippi during World War II. Seems to have a ragamuffin cast of good hearted orphans who like to play pranks on mean kids.
