Carol Marin reports on two Chicago women caught in an international heroin smuggling organization in Thailand and sentenced to death. Marin explains that their sentences have been commuted to life. She speaks to a priest and two nuns about the state of the women in the prison, and what led them to commit these crimes. Marin talks to the friends of a couple of the women.

Marin reports on Wayne Edwards, known on the street at Jack Bobo, a leader of the Black Souls Gang. She reports on the new ways that the drug is entering the country and being used. She describes the way that the heroin is brought into the country, and the way that it is sold on the streets. She describes the profit that can be made.
