We are deeply saddened by the death of our friend and colleague, journalist Elizabeth Brackett. Please read the wonderful tribute by Robert Feder.

In 2015, Elizabeth donated her collection of videotapes of her work to Media Burn. It is comprised of 86 tapes from 1978 to 2010. Some of our favorites are below.

The first one features Elizabeth reporting on her own personal journey from aspiring Chicago politician to journalist for The MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour on national PBS and Chicago Tonight on WTTW-Chicago.

Profile of Barack Obama, from Chicago Tonight, 2004

Can the Bulls win in 1993? From Chicago Tonight
