Description: Bill Stamets is a Chicago based film critic, journalist, p  hotographer, and filmmaker. He worked primarily in Super 8. Bill’s work largely depicts political activity and culture in the city of Chicago, often revealing a wider emphasis on American politics and culture, with emphasis on the 1996 Democratic National Convention, twentieth century mayoral elections and races, as well as grassroots events such as protests, parades, and interview footage. Figures such as then-mayor Richard Daley and Harold Washington feature.
