[The 90’s raw: Joe Angio’s trip to Nicaragua]

Raw footage for the award-winning TV series "The 90's." Joe Angio prepares for a trip to Nicaragua, picking up last minute supplies and reviewing his plans. He also appears on tape briefly at the end of the tape after returning from the trip and tells Tom Weinberg about a few of his technical problems.

Angio states, “Take me out to the ballgame. Take me out to the jungle. Buy me some brown rice and tortilla chips. I don’t care if the people don’t tip. You’ll root root root for the Cubans. If they don’t win it’s a war. For it’s one, two, three strikes you’re out at the old Nicaragua.” We then watch as Angio acquires a passport, lasting several minutes.

05:30Copy video clip URL Angio and the camera operator, Joel Cohen, make their way over to Angio’s doctor at Northwestern Medical Center. Angio will be receiving a round of shots in preparation for his trip. This lasts for several minutes.

The two talk about Angio getting a tetanus shot before leaving for Nicaragua. After reaching his doctor, the camera follows Angio as he makes his way to the office. This lasts for several minutes.
