00:10Copy video clip URL Cut to a shot of Bill Veeck on the phone desperately trying to find his team a flight out of Sarasota, FL. Veeck speaks with an associate about the possibility of flying to Cuba to use their baseball facilities. After the phone call, Veeck shuffles over to his bed and begins to discuss the possibility of flying the team to Cuba or any other off shore islands where the weather is suitable. His colleagues weigh in on the situation as well. This lasts for a good portion of the tape.

12:00Copy video clip URL A surprised Veeck gets up to answer an unexpected phone call. It seems as if he is given some bad news about a possible flight out of Sarasota, FL. Veeck and his colleagues then try to see if they can get a charter flight into Panama. Roland Hemond makes the call. They continue to talk about their schedule for the rest of the tape.
